"beach" (sand by sea) - playa

"artificial or man-made" - artificial
An useful question:
"Is it natural? Yes, it is. No, it isn´t" - ¿Es natural? Si. No.
"Is it man-made? Yes, it is. No, it isn´t." - ¿Es artificial? Si. No.
